How do you normally give to the church? Do you drop a check in the offering bag on Sunday morning? Maybe you mail it to the church? Or do you use the "Bill Pay" feature from your bank?
You can also give to the church using CCB (Church Community Builder). Doing it this way means you don't need remember to write a check each week. And if you're going out of town, or some bad weather hits and you can't make it to church, you don't have to worry about missing a week of giving by not being in church on Sunday. The church relies on your regular giving and using CCB's repeating gift feature will ensure that your giving intentions are achieved even if you forget. Follow these steps to setup online giving in CCB, and let it give each week for you.
First, you'll need to login to CCB. If you need help with logging in or getting your login information, see my previous post "A Quick Intro to Church Community Builder".
Once you're logged in, you'll see a dollar icon on the left which you can click on to get to the "Give" page in CCB. On the Give page, you'll see two tabs: "Give" and "Schedules/History".
This is where you'll setup your one time or repeating gift. You'll choose which funds you want to give to and the amount you'd like to give toward each fund. If you're setting up a repeating gift, you'll also choose how often you want this to happen, when to start, and when to stop.
Once you click continue, you'll be taken to a secure page where you can enter your payment information to complete your gift.
Even if you don't give online, a history of the gifts you've given to ABEFC is available, for only you to view, in CCB. Click on the "Schedules/History" tab on the "Give" page to view your family's giving history and get a current giving statement. Contact our financial secretary if you have questions about what you see on your Schedules/History tab.
